Applies to: www.zenergygreens.com and to quotations, orders and services provided by Zenergy Greens unless a signed contract between us says otherwise.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using this website, or by requesting a quotation from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or engage our services.

Where you and Zenergy Greens sign a separate written contract, work order or purchase order for a specific project, the terms of that document take precedence over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

2. About us

This website is operated by Zenergy Greens, a solar energy engineering, procurement and construction business with its office at Room No-311, Narbada Building, Chatribari, Block-A, District — Kamrup Metro, Guwahati, Assam – 781001, India. References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Zenergy Greens. References to “you” mean the person or organisation using this website or engaging our services.

3. Use of this website

You agree that you will not:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful material;
  • copy, scrape, republish or commercially exploit the site's content without our written permission;
  • submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through our enquiry forms;
  • use the site in any way that damages, disables or impairs it, or interferes with anyone else's use of it.

We may suspend or withdraw the site, or restrict access to it, without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or uninterrupted.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, specifications, layouts, graphics, the Zenergy Greens name and the Zenergy Greens logo — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property law.

You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal business use in evaluating our services. Any other use — including reproduction, distribution, adaptation or use in another website or publication — requires our prior written consent.

Third-party names and logos shown on this site, including those of certification bodies and of organisations we have supplied, remain the property of their respective owners and are shown to identify those organisations. Their appearance does not imply that they endorse any other product or service.

5. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current. Product specifications, wattages, battery capacities, luminous flux figures and similar technical data are provided as a guide, are subject to manufacturing tolerances, and may change as products are updated.

The content on this site is general information, not technical or financial advice for your specific site. Nothing on the site forms an offer capable of acceptance. Always rely on the written quotation and datasheets we issue for your project.

6. The savings estimator

The savings estimator on our website is an indicative modelling tool only. It applies general assumptions about irradiance in the Guwahati region, typical tariff bands, typical system costs and standard subsidy slabs. It does not account for your roof orientation, shading, structural condition, available area, sanctioned load, actual tariff category or the current status of any government scheme.

Figures produced by the estimator are not a quotation, not a guarantee and must not be relied on for financial decisions. Actual system size, cost, subsidy, generation, savings and payback are confirmed only in a written proposal issued after a physical site survey.

7. Quotations and orders

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them, or for 30 days from issue if no period is stated. A quotation is an invitation to proceed, not a binding contract. A contract comes into effect only when we accept your order in writing, or when a work order or agreement is signed by both parties.

Quotations are based on the site information available to us at the time. If a site survey or execution reveals materially different conditions — structural limitations, additional civil work, longer cable runs, difficult access, or changes you request — we will inform you and issue a revised quotation before proceeding with the additional work.

8. Prices, taxes and payment

  • Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other applicable statutory levies are charged at the rate prevailing on the date of invoice, and are additional to the quoted price unless the quotation expressly states that it is inclusive.
  • Payment terms — including any advance, milestone payments and the balance due on commissioning — are set out in the quotation or work order.
  • Title to the supplied equipment passes to you only when we have received payment in full. Risk in the equipment passes to you on delivery to your site.
  • We may charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate stated in the quotation, and may suspend further work or support while payment remains outstanding.

9. Subsidies, net metering and approvals

Where we assist with a government subsidy application (such as under the PM Surya Ghar scheme) or with net-metering registration with the distribution licensee, we act as a facilitator on your behalf. We will prepare and submit the documentation and follow up diligently.

However, the grant of a subsidy, the sanction of a net-metering connection, the amount awarded and the time taken are decided entirely by the relevant government body or licensee. We do not control those outcomes and cannot guarantee them. Eligibility criteria and scheme budgets change from time to time. Delay in, reduction of, or refusal of a subsidy or approval by an authority does not relieve you of your payment obligations to us for work performed and equipment supplied.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to install the system at the site, including any consent required from a landlord, co-owner, housing society or local authority.

10. Site access and customer obligations

You agree to:

  • provide safe, timely and uninterrupted access to the site for our personnel and equipment during installation;
  • ensure the roof or mounting location is structurally sound and suitable for the proposed system; where you have any doubt, arrange a structural assessment;
  • provide a suitable electrical point, water and space for materials as reasonably required during installation;
  • give accurate information about your electricity connection, sanctioned load, consumption and site conditions;
  • obtain any permissions required from third parties before work begins;
  • keep the array area free from new obstructions or shading after commissioning.

Delays or additional costs arising from a failure to meet these obligations may be charged to you.

11. Delivery, timelines and delays

Installation timelines given in a quotation are estimates made in good faith. They assume timely site access, timely payment of milestones, and normal availability of materials and statutory approvals.

We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including delays by a distribution licensee or government body, supply-chain shortages, adverse weather, or your own delay in providing access, information or approvals.

12. Warranties

Equipment we supply carries the warranty offered by its original manufacturer — typically a product and performance warranty for solar modules, and separate warranties for inverters, batteries, luminaires, pumps and balance-of-system components. The applicable warranty periods are stated in your quotation and in the manufacturer documentation handed over at commissioning.

We separately warrant our own workmanship for the period stated in the quotation. Warranty claims should be raised with us in the first instance, and we will coordinate with the manufacturer where required.

Warranties do not cover:

  • damage caused by misuse, negligence, vandalism, theft or accident;
  • damage from lightning, flood, storm, earthquake or other natural events, unless separately insured;
  • work, modification or repair carried out on the system by anyone we have not authorised;
  • normal degradation of module output within manufacturer tolerances;
  • loss of performance caused by new shading, soiling, or failure to carry out required cleaning and maintenance;
  • consumables and items with a defined service life, beyond that life.

13. Performance guarantees

Where a project is contracted with a guaranteed Performance Ratio (PR) or a guaranteed savings figure, that guarantee, its measurement method, the exclusions and the remedy are defined in the signed project agreement for that project. Statements on this website about guaranteed generation or savings describe an offering we make available; they are not themselves a guarantee for any particular project.

Generation estimates are based on modelling and historical irradiance data. Actual generation varies with weather, grid availability, ambient temperature and site conditions.

14. Operation and maintenance

Operation, maintenance and monitoring services — including any 24×7 support commitment, response times and reporting — are provided under a separate O&M agreement or as specified in your project contract. Where no such agreement is in place, maintenance visits and spare parts are chargeable.

Solar systems require periodic cleaning and inspection. Failure to maintain the system may reduce generation and may affect warranty and performance commitments.

15. Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel a confirmed order before installation begins, we will refund amounts you have paid, less any costs we have already reasonably incurred — including custom-ordered or non-returnable materials, design and survey work performed, mobilisation costs and statutory fees already paid on your behalf.

Once installation has begun, cancellation is subject to payment for work completed and materials supplied to that point. Refunds, where due, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period after the amount is agreed.

We may cancel or suspend an order if payment milestones are not met, if the site proves unsuitable or unsafe, or if a required approval is refused. In that case we will refund amounts received less costs reasonably incurred.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of data;
  • our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a project is limited to the total amount you have paid us for that project;
  • we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on indicative figures produced by the savings estimator, or on general information published on this website.

17. Force majeure

We are not in breach of these terms, and not liable for any delay or failure to perform, where that delay or failure results from events outside our reasonable control — including acts of God, flood, earthquake, storm, fire, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action or restriction, failure of public infrastructure, or interruption of supply chains or utility services.

18. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

19. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site or place an order is the version that applies. Please check this page periodically. Changes do not retrospectively alter a contract already formed between us.

20. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through discussion. Failing that, the courts at Guwahati, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any arbitration clause agreed in a specific project contract.
